Hi everyone,

I'm the owner of flytrapgrowing.info. I hope you all enjoy my website. It's very much in the development stage at the moment, so if you notice any errors please let me know.

This site is aimed more towards those who have purchased a Venus flytrap from their local garden shop and are simply looking for an amusing place to learn the absolute basics of looking after their new plant and/or preventing it from dying.

Regards,
Ryan Hellyer

I'm glad you like the site.

The experiments aren't exactly scientifically rigorous :P/> But hopefully they'll be a useful case study for people wanting to know how much effect poor conditions have on these plants. I've read lots of things about them not liking tap water, but very little hard evidence about what effect they have is available. I plan to add updates at least every month. I'll be performing some other crude experiments on these plants as well - fingers crossed I don't kill them!

Ryan.
