Hi,

May I know whether can i mix fighting fish with marimos balls?
The idea is becoz both do not need air pump or filter inside their tank and juz need to change the water regularly.
Also shrimps always die on me.
But I'm not sure whether will the fighting fish nibble at the marimos balls?Anybody got experience on that?
I juz don't want the marimos balls to end up as expensive food for them.

Out of topic a bit:
I used to keep fighting fish n they did mate twice with lots of bb but all gone 2 heaven liao.

Cheers

You can. I have one right now in the marimo tank and had two in there previously. They leave the Marimos alone. B)/>

I cant advise about marimos, but regardng the breeding, I have bred them quite a few times before. It takes practice....and need to breed microscopic brine shrimps for the babies to eat, though they can eat the microorganisms as well ^_^/>

Yes u can grow this microorganism by putting a piece of lettuce in a cup of water and put them under the sun for 2 days. After 2 days u can see little organism darting around. Just pour a little of the smelly water into the breeding tank for the very small fighting fish babies to eat. The first 2 days they use the yolk attached on their body for fod. I feed only the third day. after a week i feed on brine shrimp. The problem is trying to get them to live together aftter 4 months... they are constantly brickering. A little kapatang leaves will do the trick. Hope it helps! :P/>
