The Olive-backed Sunbird (Cinnyris jugularis) is also known as the yellow-bellied sunbird. Commonly found around Southeast Asia to as far as southern China, Queensland and the Solomon Islands. Originally from mangrove habitat, the olive-backed sunbird has adapted well to humans that they even nest where there are a lot of human traffic like on plants at balconies and corridors. This male bird in the picture is only few metres away from where I am typing on my computer, is trying to drink the nectar from the Shooting Star Hoya (Hoya multiflora).
