Dear Members,
My foxtail palm seems to be infected with fungi growth.

It looks like white button mushroom (1 -2 cm in diameter) attached to the trunk surface and when scrapped off, it left a slight indentation.

Can anyone kindly advise on this? I was told the palm (which is about 5 meters tall) needs to be removed.

Thanks.

I managed to search the internet and confirmed that my foxtail palm has been infected by garoderma butt rot - a fungal disease. Those interested can follow this link: http://slideplayer.com/slide/10841056/
