Hello all, im planning to order some plants from carnivoria eu and have already sent in my order. Is this website trustworthy so that i can use bank transfer since i do not have paypal. What is any of your experience with this company? As for communication the emails i have sent, David is able to reply to most of them. However, im not sure if its worth the risk since im paying over a 100.

Yup. I've sent my funds over and is waiting for his updates on the shipment. Haven't been heard from him since Wednesday. He talked about some paperwork for VAT...

Remember to ask for CITES if you are buying VFT. Singapore needs it. he thought we do not need it.

Yes he did reply on monday... I told him i need CITES and he still ask me to confirm i need it. After i replied he went silent all the way. It's a public holiday on WED and THURS though. Just wait.

CITES is a cert that almost all CP needs during importing to Singapore. just get it, or your package will be gone if it ends up in AVA.

CITES, Phytocert and Invoice. This 3 things cannot be missing. Miss one and your plants will be bye bye.

He replied again today. From what i can see he did not proceed with the CITES!!!!
I've told him to get the CITES.
He told me CITES need to take 20-30 days.
Now I know why Asia is beating European countries BIG TIME now. Such low efficiency.

oh my goodness, i checked today and he actually replied to me, finally after 3weeks. Low efficiency? haha maybe its only this seller, i guess not many sellers would take so low to proceed with the paper works..He told me that cites arent needed for plants that are artificially propagated and from clones as they are not from the wild is this true?

The link is to a government website about importing law.

Great news!

After searching up down left right, we found out that for Appendix II Artificial propagated plant can don't need a CITES. but need some form of certificate to prove that the plants are indeed artificially propagated.

And Phytosanitary certificate does state that it's an artificially propagated plant. So, in this case, we just need the phytosanitary certificate to state that the plants are artificially propagated and we will be good to go. :flowers:/>

That guy finally sent the plant out. But guess what, I paid for EMS postage and he sends me through a registered mail.

EMS cost 45 EURO = 2 days
Registered mail cost less than 2 EURO = 2 weeks?

This guys service is bad, stupidly bad.
