Newbie in repotting pomelo plant
Bought this pomelo plant 2 years ago, many leaves fall off on 2 branches due to hot weather earlier this year and decided to graft the 2 botak branches with 2 calamansi cuttings.

I used cleft graft to graft 2 calamansi cuttings onto 2 pomelo branches more than 3 weeks ago.

This morning while watering the plants I saw some new shoots growth on the 2 calamansi cuttings.

Weather was bad for past few weeks, raining almost every alternate day.

I used electric white tape for the joint and Parafilm grafting tape to cover the 2 calamansi cuttings to trap moisture and prevent them the cuttings from drying.
