Hello everyone,

Mosquito "fogging" is very common here in Singapore, and we just recently moved in our condo unit which is located on the first level. My herb plants are just in our patio, and whenever there is a scheduled fogging activity, my herb plants gets "fogged" up as well with whatever pesticide they are spraying.

I wanted to ask if my herbs will still be edible or at at least safe to eat despite of that fogging activity?

Any help/info is appreciated. thanks!

If the pots are not too big and heavy, bring them indoors on the day of fogging (best option since you don't have to worry about side effects). Alternatively, harvest the leaves 1 day before weekly fogging day.

Similar to applying pesticides on edibles, best to wait for at least 1 week before consuming the leaves of plants that have been sprayed low dose of pesticide.
