Hi all, I am a new member. I have a lemon plant. After persistent feeding of fertiliser, it flowered once. But that one time of flowering, with consistent feeding of fertiliser, it has not flowered since. The lemon plant is planted on ground with sunlight and watering and weekly feed of fertiliser.

What's the NPK ratio of your fertiliser? If N is very high, the plant will produce lots of leaves and won't flower.

There is no need to fertilise every week. Get a fertiliser suitable for citrus trees or one with very low N, high P, high K ratio and fertilise every 2-3 months instead.

Hello people

I don't have the answer to your lemon question and until I have the more specific tried and tested method, I would like to agree and disagree with all answers.

Take a look at this recommendation.

Good morning everyone,
I do not have lemon (can we grow lemon in Spore?) but a couple of lime plants and hope they work the same.
Agree with Wisteria that fertilizing need not be weekly. For edible plants, I would try to stick to organic ferts like sheep/chicken poop, dump in about once a month or when I feel they need a boost. Lime plants are no exception.
For fruiting plants, another step that I think is important is pruning. Pruning and lots of sunlight would encourage new shoots and more flowers. Hope this helps.
