Just some random questions. Is White oil sufficient for dendrobium farming? or need more chemical stuff ?

If I'm farming dendrobiums, do I need this cert from AVA ?
http://www.ava.gov.s...icide-operators

Is it possible to use organic pesticides/fungicides and get same quality plants, without spots and blemishes on the leaves and flowers ?

Some farmers don't like White oil ? Any reasons why ?

btw, I've a mineral oil based white summer oil, and many people make DIY white oil using vegetable oils.

Those display orchids at Airport, Hotels, hospitals etc..How often do you think they change the display orchids ? We grow at home anyhow grow can flower ok already. If for commercial purposes, the plant need to bloom very well, like having several flower spikes and long lasting flowers. Have anyone heard of any tricks of the trade ?
