Thank you. My plants are so so. A lot of work as I have too many to take care of.

This Brunfelsia gives very good night fragrance. Very easy to grow and respond very well to my care.

Seed grown plants look better.

Huge garden and many plants sound great :)/>

How's the fragance of Brunfelsia americana , as compared to the common shuimei or chempaka? Is yours grown from seed, how long will it take to reach that size and flowering stage?

I'm rather limited with words when it comes to describing fragrances. It's like perfume and very worth growing. Been growing these plants for many years now.

The tree form americana that you see above is about 3 years old. It was grown from seed.

The lactea however was bought and I believe it was grown from a cutting. It was left to grow without much intervention from me. That's its natural growth style and shape.

Generally depending on their health and growth rate, seedlings take between 6-9 months before they start to flower.
