Hi sthh,
I have been longing to own Oncidium Sharry Baby. Where can I buy one?
How do you make them flower? My oncidiums keep producing new babies like crazy but no flower spike :unsure:/>

I have seen Oncidium Sharry Baby recently during the Garderner's Day Out event at hortpark. Got mine from Taipei.
These Oncidium needs lots of sun to flower, and I give them morning sun.

I will google for the next Gardener's Day Out since I go HortPark rather frequently. It is one of the very few places in Spore that I can let the kids run freely on an open field like mad dogs ^_^/>

My only oncidium that is blooming like there-is-no-tomorrow is Dancing Lady.. even sick of them at times. The rest no sound no picture. I once placed them under direct morning sun and the leaves got sunburn. Heartpain...

How do you upload the photos? I can show you my little collections. Thanks!

I got my Onc. Sharry Baby from Song and Woon Leng. They are placed along the corridor with bright indirect light and had bloomed several times. The one from Woon Leng has no black spots on the leaves.

Busy Bee,
Your first photo looks like Onc. Lemon Heart, is that Onc. White Cloud for the last photo?

Thanks, Hwee. I will look out for it during my next visit to WL.

I have 2 pure yellow oncidium, the one in pic is prettier with more curly petals and the other one is exactly the same as Dancing Lady but totally yellow. Dancing Lady type flowers very easily.

Ooops! Not sure about their names .. I am a lazy and unglamorous gardener, never bother to find out as I get confused with all the bombastic and complicating names given to the orchid world. I just apply lots of TLC and common sense to keep them thriving :)/>/>/>

Got it for $15, but that's my regular customer price from Song.

I think their usual price is $18 but I find them rather small sometimes with only around 2 - 3 pseudobulbs. Still prefer the one you bought from Taiwan, petals are wider with more emphasis on white colour.
