Not difficult as long as u have partial shade sunlight .

Where do you get the cuttings or seeds? I am also keen, I use this very often in cooking, so I want to seed if I can grow some of them for 4/5 years, lol

Isn't Chinese angelica (dang gui / Angelica sinensis) considered a highland plant even in temperate region?

The Angelica species that can take semi-shade here is Angelica keiskei, more commonly known as ashitaba 明日叶.
