My Salvia plant leaves are turning brown.
What is causing that, and what should be done. Appreciate any advice http://www.greenculturesg.com/forum/public/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif

I assume you are trying to grow in Singapore? This species cannot tahan the heat. Curious where you get the plant?

thanks for your response.

yes, growing them in Singapore, and I bought them from the regular nursery.

actually the plants grow very well in pots & easy to propagate.
but when I planted them in the garden, they tend to turn brown as shown in the pic.

do you think the leaves turning brown is due to the heat? any way to manage that, like watering more? (I'm a total amateur to gardening)
