Super-mini cattleya. Not sure if it's a Lc. No ID (Lc. Tiny Treasure?).
Potted in pure sphag and roots are drowning. Repotted it and surprise!! New roots and new shoots. Can't wait to see the flowers again.
Planter condition. Direct afternoon sun from 2-6pm. I was lucky that i didn't burn its leaves.
by the way, i did dip it with seaweed extract from horti.

Bc. Bill Worsley (C. aurantiaca x B. nodosa) is now with two flowers opened. It's adorable.

I hope this is a Slc Little Fairy, not sure.
No ID. Yellow waxy flowers again. Yes, my favorite color on flowers.
Did not come with any bloom. Long slim pseudobulbs. Just repotted. Nothing much at the moment.
Using the same mix. Pure LECA with a top layer of sphag for longer moisture holding.
Just dipped it in seaweed extract. Hope to see new roots and shoots growing soon.
West window sill condition. Sunshine thru glass from 1 - 6pm. Fan is on from 8-9pm daily.

Might not be Yellow Bird. YB has some spotting on the lip. It opens with some purple in it, slowly changing to more yellow as it ages.

You could be right. Always, they come with the wrong ID or some confused ID. I'll take it as a yellow bird otherwise I won't be able to remember its existence. :P/>

Encyclia Cochleata.
Managed to re-bloom this one on 2 new pseudobulbs. After Brought it indoor along the window for a short display, the root tips are sulking already. Guess it misses the sun. Gotta hang it back out to the planter soon.

Bc. Little Star x Epi. Tampenses
Not much info of this one on the internet. Lovely little star shape blooms with typical Bc. Morning glory color tones and prominent lips with random splotches.
One of my favorites at the moment. No scent though.

Hi Jimmy,

I got a similar looking one from Song. Written on the original pot was Lc. Tiny Treasure.

Cheers,
KX

From Song. Uncle Song grew and flowered it at his nursery. So acclimatization is easier.
Will go back there to look for more of these (even without any spike or bloom) :)/>

New acquisitions from Song again.

Blp. Golden Peacock. Lovely orange starry blooms :P/>/>/>/>
Growth is compact. Heard that the bloom could last for weeks. No scent anyway.
The plant is potted in a net pot and I placed it into a clay pot, indoor west window sill.

http://i1066.photobucket.com/albums/u403/Jim_Yung/2015-06-04_11.00.53_zpsms1ux12f.jpg

Sidetrack a little. Another baby that I got.. Ascocenda Memoria Tienchai.

Always in love with yellow orchids. Saw it the other day when I was there but didn't get it cause I wasn't sure If I want more Vanda (Couldn't bring a Vanda indoor even when it's blooming). Medium size flowers, fragrant, hard and waxy petal sepal. Blooms are not overly sparse and not too compact like constricting each other. That's the reason I went back there for it. No picture yet as it is not in bloom but I found one from google. Uncle Song said it is a very pretty Vanda.

Indeed. The real flower is even much daintier. And the round shape petals and sepals are unbelievably thick.
Feeling scrumptious by just touching it.

Has been looking around for this one - Cattleya chocolate drop hybrid, for some time. Enticing large reddish brown star shape flowers with spotty red lip. Strong minty fragrance that fills up the room. Pretty exotic. Slender psuedobulb and foliage but not shriveled. Got it at a premium price cause was told it was rare. I wish I have a better grow space for it.

http://i1066.photobucket.com/albums/u403/Jim_Yung/20150609_071325-1_zpsv5dafafx.jpg

On the left, they are the two different Tolumnias in the same pot that I picked up last weekend. No ID no spike.

http://i1066.photobucket.com/albums/u403/Jim_Yung/20150609_071457_zpsgrg88rii.jpg

At the same time, picked up a yellow Brassavola X Epidendrum (Bep) Karut Green. (Yes, yellow again!!) They should have kept this away from me.
Fragrant flowers. Enormous lip with waxy greenish petals and sepals. Growing quite a few new shoots. That's the second reason I brought this baby home.
