ID this basil please

Can anyone tell me what kind of basil is this please? Sweet?

from the leaf and flower, most likely basil Genovese..

Goody! Finally an identity! Now I am trying to germinate Thai Basil. Just found some seeds I took from flowers.

I think looks like it.. big juicy curly leaves and white flowers fits the description.. thai basil dun really look like this.. and then there's lemon basil which has 'hairy' stems.. tt's all I know thou.. :P/>

Thai Basil has purple stem and the smell is not the same.

in general, yes.. but there are other sweet basil with purple stems as well..

Yep that is confirmed a Genovese Basil

cut the flowers off and it will grow more leaves :-)
