Got this mini den during SGF 2014 in Aug, it grew a new psuedobulb and started flowering.

Stth
May I know how do you take care of your mini dend? I got my first dend spatulata in a clay pot of charcoal. Originally intended to take care like phal, but realized it may not be optimum since dend has pseudo bulb.
Nursery advised to water once a day and fert twice a week. Is it appropriate as the dend is now along corridor rather than outdoor.
Thanks.

Den has pseudobulb, which can store lots of water. So I only mist their roots daily. If your pot dries up daily, you can still mist the roots daily and fert once a while. Dont overwater and it will survive. I also have a habit of not covering their roots with too much charcoal, and keeping them in small pots. Den with do well with lots of sun.

Thanks, stth
Currently, pot dries up in a day. I poked at the bottom of the pot to find out. Charcoal hardly retains water.
As for sun, I cannot help it. Hopefully it can do well at the brightest spot I can find. Come to think of it, it will get some afternoon sun from Oct to Mar.
cheers
