Repotted my seed grown fig into soil. The roots are somehow rotting in hydroponics. So hoping to see some fruits.

The seed grown is tucked it in one corner now, growing but not fruiting. I will take a picture when I am around during the weekdays.

Here's a pic for you. It was totally neglected, and I didn't realise that the sun shifted away, so it was grown in shade. Bad. Now I have to look for new sunny area.

Hi Everyone,
I am also starting to use hydroponic to grow some greens. Although it has not been very successful probably due to the amount of sun that i get and the measly bug infestation that wipe out everything. Looking at all your success stories really motivated me a lot and learn some new ideas on how to grow them. Keep on growing..... :)/>/>

Wow..It still look so lush even it was neglected!
Do you think it is true that figs grown from seeds will not have fruit?

Hi I was looking through some of your older posts and the dwarf tomato plant is beautiful! May I know where you got the seeds?

Time passes very quickly. It's been a year since I last updated this thread.

Here's a new update.
Hydroponic Rosemary conundrum. Rosemary are susceptible to fungal attack at high humidity, and are very sensitive to fertiliser. Hence in this hydroponic setup, the nutrient is very diluted at EC of 0.4. In comparison, tomatoes nutrient is usually at 2 to 2.8. I make my own nutrient using gaviota 63, epsom salt and seachem flourish. The nutrient reservoir does not touches the leca substrate. Hence the clay leca are bone dry. Nutrient solution can last for months, hence the entire plant does not need to be watered in months. Rosemary roots, esp the root hair will dry up and wilter if there are not enough water, and the rosemary will not grow well. This is especially true for rosemary grown in well draining substrate which missed their watering. Rosemary in hydroponics tend to develop more robust roots. The nutrient container is blacked out with a paper sleeve and the setup is placed in a sunny location.

Growing dwarf tomatoes again. Took out some very old seeds that I saved from fruits previously, and surprised they they sprouted. Also sowed some red robin dwarf and they sprouted too. All in the flowering stages.

Got back some momotaro tomatoes seeds from a japanese burger restaurant. They taste fantastic, so I have to grow them. Surprisingly not as big as I thought they will be.http://i498.photobucket.com/albums/rr346/trelch/STHH3176_zps9xh6bu0c.jpg
