Grey fingers, is your avocado the dwarf type from world farm, Indonesian type right?
Ok if it is dwarf, your tree looks very promising. I have seen and studied avocado buds for a long time. Trust me, yours is promising!!
I recommend that you give it a nice leaf prune, remove quarter to half of leaves, becos yer tree got too many leaves to fruit.
Give some fruiting fertilizer and reduce or stop watering.
But please don't kill your tree.
Remove only terminal buds. The other buds look like flower buds.

But if yours is the seed type, I can only say good luck and the tree will be a huge giant.

Aiyo can't bring myself to remove this handsome tree's leaves la.

Yes I've given it some bloom booster and phostrogen. Do let's wait and see.

My tree is not see grown. It's grafted.

Sadly, the avocado did bit bear fruit.
This is the last straw....
I have been looking for a replacement.
Guess it's true, avocadoes need the cold.
So sad.....
When chop, chop, chop for the avocado..... :hysterical:/>

I see avocado trees fruiting in malaysia and indonesia in the hot climate.

You MAY want to try this

A) Place a bag of ICE in the evening around the stem

Do this everyday until it flowers.

Intriguing technique. Was this tip given to you by the avocado grower in Malaysia or Indonesia?
