Here I come to join sis 'Westeria', 'Click' & others in this tread, but I don't have any own
garden just 'long-pang' my brother's business premises so can't type title as 'my garden'.

Coral Bead Plants (Nertera grandadensis) from Japan - bought a few pots during this Chinese New Year but all were dead within 3-4 weeks as just found out that it's not suitable growing here. :hitmyself:/>

Wow, so many winter melons!!! :notworthy:/>/> :notworthy:/>/> :notworthy:/>/>

Is that datura in post #3? If yes, it's a toxic plant, hence either grow in pot or grow in the ground away from the edibles.

Wah!!! Growing to sell ah? http://www.greenculturesg.com/forum/public/style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif

A basketball sized field can grow so many things!!
His total land size must be huge!! Is this in Singapore?

What else does your sifu grow there?? Are you making
use of this land still or it has gone to weeds? If in SG, I
would love to visit and see for myself... http://www.greenculturesg.com/forum/public/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif

Yes sis, just got to know that it is Datura metel from an old uncle 2 weeks ago. He said in the old days, used it as pain-killer.
Bought it from World Farm few months back and now big plant growning in a rectangular big tub.

Click, should have get to know you earlier last year and sell all to you lo.

Unforunately that super big plot of land in Singapore was no longer available liao or else will grow more Winter Melons & sell it at this forum.
8 vines producing more than 100 winter melons at various harvesting times thus all winter melons were given away to relatives & friends and also in
our stomaches.

That old uncle actually planted many herb plants for sales and totally stopped planting as he was too old & weak to take care of them.
I then suggested my interest of growing Winter Melons and with the help of my brother & his worker, we had everything set-up and with
the guidance of the old uncle the winter melons were growing like no ending for almost 6 months and finally came to an end when the
whole piece of land had to clear.

These Passion Fruit Plants were grown at my brother's business premises last year, same concept of getting them to grow high up as my brother wants shade for his car. So far the passion fruits all have 'eyes' and will not drop onto his car roof-top, just like the durians :lol:/>

Average about 4-5.5 kgs for the 'melon' shape and the super round ones (with powder) are heavier. Long ones about 5 - 7kgs.

I find that the passion fruit plants grow very fast and once you spot flowers will have many soon.
But the fruits will take quite a few weeks to grow big & change to maroon color and finally being
harvested.
