Amazing you can see the seeds growth.
I hardly could hardly see any on mine growing on the dried spaghnam moss.
Maybe it is my old flowery eyes problem.

I am very used to looking at CP seedlings all the time and of late, I can't focus without removing my spectacles. Too bad old flowery eyes aren't as pretty as the contact lens with floral prints. :lol:/>

I think the next generation of smartphones should have the "lau hua" lens...a discrete magnifier or app for us to hold the phone over text to help us see clearly. :lol:/>

Another strain to my eyes...the oldest seedling (right) at 7 weeks, with 3 functioning traps.

If anyone can teach me the process of germinating a venus fly traps seeds it would be great help. Do i grow it on a damped cotton wool in a container or just put it in the moss peat?

Hi joven,

All seeds imported should be accompanied by a phytosanitary certificate to state that they are pest free and subjected to post entry inspection.

Specific details can be found in the following link: http://www.ava.gov.s...ach17plant8.pdf

Please bear in mind that Akai Ryu seeds are NOT going to grow into Akai Ryu plants. VFT plants that can be labelled as Akai Ryu are only propagated from offshoot/cutting from the original mother plant.

You can search and read up this forum on growing/germinating VFT seeds. Easily on soil like Life or Dried Long fibre Sphagnum from Far East Flora, or Horti Peat Moss from NTUC. I personally prefer LFS
