Hi Everyone,

I am back with another terrarium project of mine. This time round, I use a vertical acrylic container as the garden vessel. Again this high quality container is from Muji, I DIY the acrylic cover to contain the humidity. The backdrop is a fan coral to add a sense of depth and contrast to the foliage in the mid ground.

Comments are welcome!

Very nice. I'm a moss lover. Where did you get yours from? Also need a tip from you, how do you maintain your moss to stay fresh green in colour? Mine usually turns darker, brown or yellow. :(/>

Wow... They are so lovely... Will the acrylic case from Muji fog up and turn blur like other plastic containers?

Hi,

The moss is Apple moss. I got most of my stock from my friend's garden if not from the wild. You need to have an intimate understanding of each type of moss and what conditions it need to thrive. Apple moss needs lots of air exchange and minimum moisture, it also requires more light than other moss. They will become moldy fast if you keep it in a air tight container, so ensure there are gaps for evaporation and air exchange.

I have sold a lot of terrariums for friends and colleagues. If you are interested, let me know.

I just mist it before taking the shoot, that's why there are water droplets. the cover is DIY acrylic from an aquarium shop that means its not air tight. the plants still need fresh air especially the apple moss.
