Hi all,

recently I sowed a bunch of gemmae, about 20 of them. I was surprised at the germination rate. Now I have too many of them LOL.

The gemmae came free with some drosera seed I ordered.

Now they're still young, but they look like this.

According to the seller, they could be "nitidula x pygmaea" or "patens x occidentalis -aka Lake Badgerup-" or "pulchella x omissa".

Any one else keeping pygmies?

I can see the pics. Gemmae germination rates are always super high. Can be >90% if fresh and treated with care. I love pygmies because lots of them will happily grow together in a small space. Harvesting gemmae on the other hand...I really hate doing it.
