My recent attempt to propagate some Dracenea just to add foilage as well as some color to my otherwise dull & hard patio...Selected 2 specie, "Maginata" and "Flagrans"... Managed to obtained some stem cuttings from a friend, he just advise to root them in water till root started to grow, then u can pot it.

This is my budding "Maginata" attempt.... advise and help would be greatly appreciated....

Potted the canes of both "Maginata" on the left and "Flagrans" on the right, into 6 pots..

For the potting medium, I used broken bricks, hammered into small pieces, and place them at the bottom of the pot. Next, I fill the main portion with a mixture of Mixed Soil, Sand and Clay. Then I use large pebbles stones to line the top. After that, I cover the top with a plastic bag to prevent rainwater from soaking the pot. Noticed that after potting, the shoots starts to grow faster compared to when they were rooting in water.
