starting from seed.

Hey pisang gurus,
I just acquired a ripened musa velutina banana.I wish to grow it from seed but is there any special "ritual" or step that i have to go through before planting??Like do i have to soak it or scar it etc before planting??:)/>:)Thanks.

Wow, abovitae,
they look really good n healthy!!!!Really looks like new suckers.Must go n see mine when i have the time.And maybe change pot.:)/>
