My this fellow have some mealy problem, just want to do some peast control and I see it grow a "pine cone" kind of thing on its bb's tip

Keiko is very easy to bloom. In fact I notice some similarities here. The one that was blooming for me more than 10 years ago is a baby plant too which has reached the edge of the pot just like Abby's which is puzzling.

If grown under sun, it will offset very quickly and form a carpet within a short time. It can tolerate rains well too and do not like droughts.

Frailea castanea is one the of most fascinating cacti. ... The species name name "castanea" derives from the Latin name “Castanea” which means “chestnut”

Hehe, rauhii help me found its ID, so now I have a Chestnut.

I have this tiny plant from last GCS gathering @ Pasir Ris, and now it grow 1 new branch and Bloom!

I wish it produce more offset to share with others, but it is busy produce flower stalk and the offset have not rooted themself yet.

We agar agar IDing it as lady amazon.

This evening, on my way to the Shaw fundation syh stage for the Austrinian girl concert, passed by the cactis patch, the red earth star there are big and with the bbs grow from the tip of their flower stalk under total open environment, I was told to keep them under shade to maintain their best color.
