You can smell from afar or need to place nose next to flower?

Read that they do better when crowded unless it's growing to the edge of the pot.

If you keep the blooming plant in a closed room during the night, the fragrance will fill up the room in the morning.

Plus, I've never distributed Golden Vanguard to Singapore yet.

insigne - if you set up stall at the SGF I'm sure many people will buy! As amostkt did not respond, I'll have to think of a way of importing the cymbidiums myself. Need to figure out all the red tape as don't want consignment to get stuck somewhere and all the plants died.

Do you know Thomas Chow of Genting Orchids? I think he is the possible channel if you let him have some margins. He has visited my nursery in Pakkret for a couple of times.

No I dunno him. Is he a member of gcs?
I think I do a M.O. for your cymbidiums and then after confirming the qty, then I decide how I proceed from there.

AVA import requirements for orchids :
http://www.ava.gov.s...ach10plant6.pdf

1. Phytosanitary certificate

2. To endorse the following pre-departure treatment into the Phytosanitary certificate :
Treatment : Dipping
Chemical : 0.1% a.i.cypermethrin + 0.1% a.i. benomyl (Other equivalence may also be acceptable)
Duration : 20 min

3. Post-entry Inspection - At premises pre-approved by AVA
