While looking for some nice foliage plants to grow in my shady corridor, I stumbled upon begonia.. slowly trying to build up my collection here

can anyone ID this please?

I'm still trying to grow and would very much appreciate it if anyone would spare me cuttings etc.. we could do a trade if you like..

Great job. Your B. mosa exotica looks ok and I think it should be able to recover.

For those who are interested in begonia, here are the pictures for both Brevirimosa subspecies.

1) Begonia Brevirimosa subsp. Brevirimosa

2) Begonia Brevirimosa sunsp. exotica

Very nice! :D/> Love the pink one.. I love begonias, but they're quite high maintenance to care for, which is difficult as I'm away.. Do you grow begonias in sphag + perlite? How often do you water? I find sphagnum too wet for my begonias... I use a terrestrial orchid mix.

I grow almost all of them in SM + perlite... which seems fine for me, cos I only water my begonias once every week... :blush:/>

That is great, you are able to handle this sensitive begonia well under local climate............................bf
