Hey all.. how many different kinds of Japanese bamboo are there??
I kinda like the green speckled with white, nice.. !!!!

I reckon you are referring to Dracaena surculosa and its more heavily speckled cultivar 'Florida Beauty' and 'Milky Way'.

They are beautiful plants but do you find these are less vigorous than its plain leaf version?

they are less vigorous.. and slower growing.. but nicer... the beauty of a bigger plant is worth the wait. I have one which I bought when small.. now after a few years.. say 4.. its only about 75cm tall.. super slow grower..

Anyway.. I bought a few of such.. some are grren speckled white.. others white speckled whiter spots.. haha
