Got to get their names confirmed by experts but think they are
Mammillaria Bombycina and Mammillaria Prolifera respectively

Very pretty, Matthew. The second cactus...I have plenty of those and they bloom constantly. I hope to see a pink flowering one in bloom soon. At the moment I have white and yellow flowering ones. Are there other colours besides white, pink and yellow?
Btw, do you know what this one is?".....

Hi Mona,

As far as I know, Mamm Prolifera comes only in the yellow colour form - if the flowers are pink or white like you mentioned, perhaps its a different species, - but I am no expert at all, just a hobbyist.

By the way my first plant is not Mamm Bombycina according to the experts its Mamm Spinosissima !!

Your plant, from what I can see, looks like Mamm. Plumosa - try doing a Yahoo or Google Image search with that name and see whether the photos shown there are similar to your plant.

Looks like you got a lot of cacti too ?

Oh yes, what I meant was other species, not Mamm. Prolifera. I would love to collect all the various species...too bad they are hard to come by here.

You are right, that plant is Mamm. Plumosa. I just did a search, thanks!

Yup, Drakon...it is really very cute...the spines are soft and feathery...nice to touch :flowers:/>
