I have a specimen of Dracaena draco which when i bought it has around 6 branchings. But now out of 6, 2 have totally rotted while another 2 shows signs of rotting, the main leader is doing well, but what can cause the other branches to rot? the rot is weird because it does not happen at the base or tip of the branch, but at the middle section, and even with the initial stage of rot, the leaves still seems green and healthy, but as it spreads, the brance will die off, may i know what's the cause and how can it be treated?

Hi,

I love Draco, too! Have read in an article that Draco is very sensitive to fluoride (which is present in our tap water I think) and will show sign of browning in leaf. However not certain whether the same will cause rotting of stem. Perhap you wanna try watering your Draco with rain water instead to see any improvement take place.
