My Gingers flowering

Noodle,

The second ginger below is Burbidgea schizocheila. Alot of us saw a specimen on display at BE's booth during the recent SGF.

Is this the first time it is in flower?

Yes it was first time blooming was growing all these from seedlings, The globba took ard 6mths to grow up and bloom as for Burbidgea schizocheila it took longer period of time to grow more then 8mths.

sorry juz to update ..this is not Burbidgea schizocheila ......hmm.. but a yet to describe/confirm species :P/>

very beautiful yellow flower. I didn't see this ginger tree before. Ginger is good for health and digestion. Thanks.
