Just seen on central florida farms that their sarawakensis is a rival in size nearly to alocasia robusta and a lot easier to grow. MT say the leaf blades on sarawakensis can reach one metre which is a lot shorter than the robusta,I am assuming the stem or stalk is not included in their indication of size.Does any know if this plant is equal nearly to robusta?

A sarawakensis is definitely smaller than A robusta. It is probably even smaller than the common A macrorhizza

i have one at home & i can confirm that it is smaller then our local macrorhizza.
you can get alocasia lutea (alocasia with yellow leaves) from some of the nursery if you want something different.
