KK & davidia, how's your experience growing these lowland? i was quite captivated by them after seeing them in the wild in cameron, but not too sure if any of the species can tolerate our heat. any species to reccommend? TIA... :)/>

Those growing in highlands need cool conditions to grow and they cannot tolerate lowland temperatures... will simply 'melt' after a while. The ones that I have are lowland spp found at sea levels and hence can take the heat. The rest of my temperate ones are grown with cooling...

thanks davidia... :)/>

i love unusual flowers & these are really interesting....

can u perhaps recommend a few lowland spp?

thanks for your reccommendation, Or Or.. :)/> that's a very beautiful plant! the 'tongue' looks just like a bit of xmas tinsel!

i did buy an arisaema few mths ago, it came with a flower, but i somehow forgot to take a pic of it before i brutally chopped off leaves & flower to pack it back from Malaysia bareroot. now i can't recall how the flower looks like & can't id my plant! i am glad however that though i initially reduced it to rhizome, it has now grown a shoot after a few mths of dormancy..i hope to somehow bloom it at some point! :P/>
