I am so envy that you have such a beautiful garden compared to us living in a flat. Does it take a lot of time to maintain the garden?

what is the butterfly pea? that's the clitoria - i have that too but never took a pix. i think i posted 3 blue flowers. the fan shaped one is the scaevola, then there's the otacanthus caeruleus, and there's the browallia.

Yup..been looking for the clitoria as I was told this plant actually increases the nitrogen level of the soil.:)/> And the fact that I can have rice with a blueish tint is kinda cool too :P/> Wonder anyone can spare a cutting to get me started? :)/>

Love your English Garden design...no way my garden can do that...what with three mango trees, one jambu tree, one kedongdong tree, 2 banana shrubs, 2 palm trees and two papaya trees scattered all over the place (my dad doesn't really believe in an organized fruit orchard :P/> ), it will look like an English Garden on an acid trip lor! :hysterical:/>

shamrock,

Wow, so colourful and so many varieties.

What did you do to your lotus? They are lovely! Can share your secret? ;)/> What is the name of the waterlily, pink, at the last picture?

Thanks again. Cheers

thanks, balistyle. not sure what it was that made the lotus burst out in blooms like that - there were 13 buds and flowers all at once in various stages. i use the normal waterlily tablets they sell at garden centres.

i'm afraid i dont know what the pink waterlily in the final picture is called. it's a night bloomer. opens at 8pm, closes at about 10.30am. maybe someone on GCS can tell us.
