id needed.....help.......

I hope i have post in the correct place.......my neighbour has pass me this tuber........she has no idea wat is it(neither do i :P/> ). really need some help in id-ing it......many, many thanks in advance........ :D/>

Looks like "chee gu", those sold in new year and for use to symbolised good birth for newly web couple :lol:/>

i just ask my neighbour again where she got it from? she said a friend brought it back from thailand......her friend said that it produces a very nice flower......but don't noe the id of it......

There is another way. Plant it and see what it becomes. ^_^/>

Or fried it and see if it tasted like the ones in bakery store :lol:/> But I prefer the above choice of growing it first. :lol:/> :lol:/>

fry some garlic,
throw in some french beans,
slice this tuber up and dump it into the pan and add some oyster sauce.
