Sorry for bumping an old thread, but I'm desperately looking for dandelions to grow for my cat. He's been diagnosed with CRF (kidney disease)and I would like to help him with all I can. Does anyone here still have dandelions? If possible can I get some dandelion seeds or plants from you? Thanks in advance.

U might want to look at this site for your dandelion needs.

http://www.iherb.com...on+&x=0&y=0#p=1

I shop a lot from this site for vits and supps and save a tonne. Shipping is fast and v reasonably priced.

A lot of the gardeners in UK treat it as unwanted planted due to its invasive habits. A lot of other gardeners who practices natural gardening or follow permaculture ethics and principles tend to keep some since you can use the young leaves and flowers for salad, the roots as a substitute for coffee. I have used it as a diversion for the snails and slugs too so they leave my vegs alone.
