HOW WE PUT TOGETHER THE GCS BOOTH

We arrived on the first day, 13 Dec 06, that was allocated to
associations to set up their booths. Our booth was located
at a corner and we had a wall taken off...

After
putting up newspaper cuttings featuring our members, we
proceeded to put up the plant rack which we used to illustrate
to all visitors how one can set up a light garden indoors.

(Bluefly) for bringing the rack and lights!

We
also put up the colourful GCS banner which brightened
the booth a great lot. This was what we achieved on
the first day... Still looks a little bare.

On
the second day given to us to set things up, we got several
Homalonema plants to line one side of the wall. Photos
courtesy
of Phillip (philliptan) and Lynnette (Velvetine) are displayed
on one side of the wall.

On
the 3rd day, also the last day given for the set-up, more plants
were carted in. We have gesneriads from Eng Ong, carnivorous
plants from Cindy and Elgin, soil samples from Boon Kiat (boonboon)
and sprouts from Wilson. Airplants from Kevin (Greenhorn) were
later
added on. Thanks Richard for the ponytail plant (left)!
